The Shadow Cage

Class Three began reading their new text, The Shadow Cage. The children made predictions about the text using clues from the front cover. We then used paired reading and explored the use of question sentences (our SPAG focus) as a tool to create suspense within a narrative, within several short stories. We will be applying this technique to our writing in the coming weeks!
