Building independent clauses

Oak Class used practical methods to build independent clauses in SPAG this week. We revisited the difference between a subject and a verb and the children had to distinguish between these in a variety of sentences. We then discussed how we can alter the position of clauses when writing sentences and practically did so. The children made sure that every independent clause began with a capital letter and ended with a full stop.
