In whole-class reading, Oak continued to read the story, Macbeth. After developing our retrieval skills when answering questions, the children were given a challenge: to write two of their own retrieval questions for a peer to answer using this lesson’s pages. This really showed a secure understanding of the events we had read about
during the lesson!
