DT Paper sculptures
This week in Design Technology we created sculptures using paper! We tried out techniques for rolling, folding and fastening the paper to the base.

Pavilions!
Over this half term, Willow have been designing and creating their own pavilion structures!
Evacuation Teddies!
Oak Class concluded their DT learning this half term by stuffing their evacuation teddy bears and finishing their blanket stitches! The children then evaluated their final products - an excellent unit of work that required lots of perseverance. Well done, Oak Class!
Pumpkin Soup
We linked our work in English and Design Technology to help Mrs Wardale make pumpkin soup. We chopped the vegetables and did some taste tests! Yum!
Stuffed Toy Templates
After learning how to sew a blanket stitch, Oak Class selected their felt and cut their teddy templates in preparation for sewing their stuffed toys!
