In English, Class Three started learning about the legend of The Trojan Horse. We developed our fluency when reading the text, using model, echo, paired and choral reading. Following this, Class Three explored the vocabulary in the text and learned new words in context. This lesson involved finding where the new vocabulary was used, locating definitions and synonyms and using them independently within an accurately punctuated sentence.
