What are pillars?

To begin our new unit of learning in RE, which will explore the Five Pillars of Islam, Class Three explored the concept of a pillar, both physically and spiritually. The children learned that pillars strengthen things and that Muslims believe in and follow five pillars to strengthen their faith and connection with Allah. Class Three considered what five things hold them up in their lives and came up with some super answers!
