In science this week, Class Two learnt about sedimentary rocks and fossil formation. The children explored this further through a practical activity, creating their own fossils with layers of bread! 

As Class Two continue to explore the features of a mosque, children were invited to explore Islamic artefacts this week. The children practised the four prayer positions whilst admiring the Quranic art and Islamic calligraphy before creating their own.

Today we created our own book full of riddles. We had so much fun and worked well as a team!

For Science we tested how well sound travels through different mediums. The children discovered how well sound travels through solids using our string cup phones.

For computing this week, children created yes no databases using different selections of items. They had to creat3 questions to create a pathway to each object.

Beat your best PE enrichment session. Children were encouraged to try new skills and beat their scores each time.
