Rolls in Gymnastics
In Gymnastics this week, Oak and Willow class learned how to perform different rolls safely. They worked in partners to develop their execution in pointing their toes and straightening their arms. The children showed excellent teamwork and encouragement!

Canvas Art!
Mary Howard continued with their Kandinsky inspired artwork. The children used wax crayons and water pastels to create their colourful canvases!
VE Day Coffee Morning at the Village Hall

Kandinsky Art!
Mary Howard continued with their Tamworth Arts project this week by using paint to apply their Kandinsky inspired circles to their canvases. Next, the children will begin creating patterns using a variety of bright colours in the style of our focus artist!
Raising the VE Day flag!
To begin VE Day, Mary Howard were joined by Reverend Nicky and members of our community and the Parish Council. After Reverend Nicky offered her blessing, the children reflected on the words ‘celebration’ and ‘commemoration’ whilst watching the raising of the VE day…
Wish Tree!
Mary Howard pupils reflected on their hopes and aspirations for their time at our school. We created wish ribbons for our wish tree in the spiritual garden. A beautiful activity of connecting with ourselves spiritually!
