Do taller trees have wider trunks?

We were inspired by “The Oak Tree” by Julia Donaldson to continue to investigate seasonal changes and our outdoor environment. We looked at the life cycle of an oak tree to find out how they grow. Then we measured the trunks of trees in our playground with string and looked for patterns.
