In Maths this week, Year 5 learned that factors are whole numbers multiplied together to create a product. They used practical equipment to represent factor pairs and support their reasoning when problem solving. Year 6 used factors as a method to divide by first identifying factor pairs and then dividing mentally to reach the answer.
