Class Two: Seasonal Cooking

This week in Class Two the children experienced a whole day dedicated to Design Technology: Seasonal Cooking. We learnt how to chop, peel and grate fruit and vegetables including the necessary hand positions, use of muscles and health and safety. The children tasted some vegetables, cheeses, pesto and purée. Later on, we began preparing our ingredients and prepping our seasonal tarts. The children created a very tasty bake using their knowledge of seasonal cooking and food preparation. Well done to Class Two - what an amazing day!
