Experimental Mark Making

Class Three started their new unit of learning in Art this week. The children explored the patterns, colours and symbols of Maya art and recorded their findings through experimental and expressive mark making. We learned about a famous Mexican artist, Diego Rivera, and how his artwork is influenced and inspired by the imagery from Mexican culture and the Maya civilisation.
