Year 6 finished their unit of learning in maths by learning about volume. We used concrete resources to construct given shapes and help us calculate volume accurately. This helped to eradicate the common misconception of only counting the cubes that can be seen! The children soared with confidence after exploring volume hands-on and progressed to multiplying the length, width and height of cuboids with excellent accuracy!
