Oak Class learned about the adaptations that different species have developed in order to survive in their habitats. We compared similarities and differences and noticed that some species (albeit living in contrasting environments) possess the same characteristics to aid survival! The children then played a dice game, in which each roll represented a random characteristic for their own creature creation. We then evaluated if our creatures were suited to their habitats and what it might find challenging! An excellent lesson, well done Oak!
