Oak Class LOVED their final DT project of the year! Our topic was all about structures and involved the children designing, building and evaluating their own playgrounds. The children were given a design brief and had to include at least three apparatus: one that moved, one that could be climbed and one that could be hidden in. Some groups also took it upon themselves to centre their work around a theme. The teamwork and perseverance demonstrated was excellent and so much fun was had by all! To finalise our unit, the children invited the children from Willow Class and Maple Class so that they could exhibit their final pieces. The children spoke brilliantly about their creations and answered lots of questions posed by their peers too! Well done, Oak!
