In Art, Oak Class developed ideas to communicate a sense of identity through self-portrait. The children learned about the works of Chila Kumasi Singh Burman and how she conveys her personality and culture through her mixed-media artwork. The children thought about words or phrases that best describe who they are and used tracing paper to communicate their ideas as the outline of their faces. Well done, Oak!
