We have been investigating what makes a device digital, and looking at inputs, processes and outputs to help us sort our items into digital and non digital groups.

Some of our amazing writing this week! We have listened to the story of Little Red Riding Hood and used adjectives to describe the characters, checking capital letters and full stops in our sentences.

Children love learning their timestables, so we have created competitive games using a game board and dice. A great bit of fun and you can download these from our class page to play at home.

Where are we in the world? That is our geography question to investigate this half term! We used Google Earth to locate the United Kingdom and then Edingale. We looked at aerial photographs of the village and located key areas.

As part of a new classroom reflection area activity, Class Three spent time reflecting on things they are thankful for during this Harvest season. As we are in Autumn, we made ‘leaf thanks’ pages for our reflection area. The children were extremely engaged and reflective.

We had a maths transition visit from John Taylor High School today! The focus was simplifying algebraic expressions and the children worked extremely hard to crack the codes!

In English today, Class Three got into character for a hot-seating activity! We generated and asked questions to the main character during an interview to check everyone’s understanding of Olive at this point in the text.
