What do plants need to grow?

For our first Science lesson of the term, we explored what plants need to grow. We planted sweetpea seeds but removed water, sunlight and warmth from three of the pots. We will check on their progress and compare to our other seeds as they grow.Reception identified the main parts of a plant and Year 2 showed their prior knowledge by sketching diagrams of plants and labelling key parts.
