Christmas at Statfold!
Class Three had an incredible time on our Christmas trip to Statfold this year! We made reindeer food, visited Mrs Claus’ bakery to decorate gingerbread biscuits, took a ride on the North Pole Railway and even met Father Christmas in his grotto! A wonderfully festive time had by all!
Christmas Dinner!
Class Three enjoyed wearing their festive jumpers for Christmas Dinner day with their friends! We listened to Christmas music, pulled crackers and told Christmas jokes!

Class Two: Intergenerational Reading Meet Up
Thank you to our local villagers who came to our recent intergenerational meet up. The children enjoyed reading and playing board games with you. We are looking forward to next month!

Class Two really loved learning all about Diwali and making their own Diva lamp in a recent RE lesson!
Christingle Preparations
Class Three joined with the other classes in school to prepare for our Christingle service. The children worked together to construct their oranges for our church service. Whilst doing so, we discussed the meanings of each component and the importance of this symbol of light during Advent!

Active and Passive Voice
Class Three learned how to accurately use the active and passive voice in preparation for writing their newspaper reports. They explored the position of subjects and verbs within sentences and learned when and why an author may select to use the passive voice. The children wrote their own active…
Class Two: Art
Over the past few weeks, our growing artists have been exploring the technique of frottage and the creation of botanical drawings. The children have made some beautiful pieces of artwork that they should be very proud of - well done Class Two!
